Plant geneticist based in the Netherlands. I have worked in a range of research topics related to plant genetics and evolution. Currently I have switched to applied genetics and am actively involved in plant breeding to create more sustainable crops.

I use iNaturalist to learn more about the life all around me. I love finding new species and learning what I can about them, I find it greatly enriches my experience of the world around me.

I have focused my identification efforts on a relatively small number of species which I aim to curate all (or almost all) observations of.
