Total amateur. And deeply in love with plants although really any living thing that doesn’t walk. I’m 43 and I can still picture vividly every plant that grew in my childhood backyard because I spent so much time outside loving on them. When people ask me what my spirit animal is, I say Jewelweed. My eleven year old son balances me out and is particularly good at finding bug tracks. A friend introduced me to this app and I now I am sooooo distracted from everything else there is to do. I’ve already learned so much about other plants in my area and my own observations thanks to this community.
