I am an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Idaho State University and the Affiliate Curator of Herpetology for the Idaho Museum of Natural History. I teach a herpetology class in alternate (even) spring semesters and periodically conduct amphibian and reptile workshops around the state. I study the ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles. My students and I began the Idaho Amphibian and Reptile iNaturalist Project in 2016. I also am an avid nature photographer.
