I am PhD student at the University of the Free State with a keen interest in spider taxonomy. I am currently revising the spitting spider genus Scytodes (Araneae: Scytodidae) of southern Africa for my dissertation. I have mostly been working with spiders, but I also have a background in insect identification. Invertebrates are generally my favourite group, but spiders have stolen my heart!

Some of my previous work include a revision of Afrotropical Micaria (Araneae: Gnaphosidae), as well as contributing to the description of a new genus, Capobula (Trachelidae), from South Africa.
