Not an awesome botanist, but a respectable one. I know the prairies and woodlands of the upper Midwest, especially here in southern Wisconsin. I'm also an "expert" on prairie remnant-dependent invertebrates, but you won't be seeing much of that here. Foremost, I see myself as a community ecologist and not a taxonomist.
