My primary position is the owner of Stocking Savvy LLC an environmental consulting firm that does habitat restoration in Florida focusing on lakes, wetlands, and retention ponds. I also teach through the EcoFlora project with Selby Gardens to encourage people to use iNaturalist in a fun, scientifically significant way. Starting in fall 2022 I also became an adjunct professor of biodiversity at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. Before the EcoFlora project I graduated from New College of Florida with a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology.
