The account is named after my two beloved canine field assistants Skua (02 June 2010 - 21 August 2023) and Kanga (born 01 June 2016) who regularly explore(d) the Lüderitz Peninsula in coastal southern Namibia with me. Our main objective here is to document the biodiversity of the Lüderitz Peninsula (and surrounds).
