A Texas Master Naturalist who organizes interpretive events in San Antonio, Texas Natural Areas and currently volunteers at the Demonstration Garden in Phil Hardberger Park and the Native Plant Showcase at Inner City Development.

I swore I would never get into plant identification work but learning about our local plants became addictive. I am focusing on characteristics to differentiate species. Learning so much about variability in characteristics and plethora of similar species which makes ID work challenging.

I am constantly amazed by the accomplishments of our iNat users as well as their helpfulness and knowledge in identifying species.
