In 1980, I began photographing wildflowers and butterflies around my childhood home in south Wales with a 35 mm rangefinder camera. I started making notes about local birds soon after, in 1982. In short, interested in all things Nature for as long as I can remember. Veterinarian, parasitologist, molecular biologist and medical school professor, my research interests include Platyhelminthes and other helminths, but have also ventured into arthropods. Deputy Editor of the Journal of Helminthology.
