I've been photographing insects and other small creatures since 1981.

Though not an expert on any group, I was able to publish the series of paperbacks Insects of Latin America: A Photographic Guide with the help of about 250 entomologists who provided me with the IDs. These books are sold at cost (no profits except to the bookstore or on-line bookseller).

I am spending what would be my kids' inheritance, if I had kids, visiting Latin America, and remote parts of the U.S. and Canada, to photograph insects, birds, lizards, and other creatures.
