As a self-taught photographer for the last 35+ years, I often view and take photographs of Mother Nature's gifts through my Macro lens, but lately, I'm loving photographing birds and other waterfowl, using my zoom lens. I live among the Redwoods of the Russian River area in West Sonoma County, and 20 minutes from the coast at Jenner, CA. Our property boasts a grove of Redwood trees with a half acre of hillside growth...several chosen plants, several not!
