I am a medical lab technologist (clinical microbiology) at a local hospital.
Outside of my day job I am an avid recreational fisherman and nature enthusiast. Experienced with local fish identification as well as some entomofauna (aquatics, Coleoptera). Am also a fitness enthusiast (weight lifting, distance running).
Not an expert, but I have taken courses in entomology during my university days and I have a small but growing personal insect collection at home. My main groups of interest are the aquatic coleoptera & heteroptera and the pnw carabidae, although I do collect representatives from other beetle families as well.
