I live (in my head) at the crossroads of biodiversity and geography. My interests are in all the taxon of a particular place and their relationships in the landscape rather than a particular group of species. Started with insects as a kid, focused more on vascular plants, now interests return to insects, especially moths. Bryophytes may occupy some of my time.

Most of my observations will be in Stephens County, Georgia and Oconee County, South Carolina, USA. Most will be in the Tugaloo River corridor which is the boundary of the two counties. I do spend some time each year in the ACE Basin of South Carolina, so a few observation will appear from there.
