I am a naturalist from Vancouver Island (software engineer by trade) and love being outdoors and observing nature in all kinds of environments, terrestrial and marine. I have developed a particular interest in insects over the past few years. I am also a director on the Metchosin Foundation, a locally focused conservation organization, and help manage the Metchosin Insect Biomass Project (sponsored by the Foundation). I am also a member of the Metchosin Biodiversity Committee and help with the Metchosin Biodiversity Project (including annual iNat BioBlitzes).
