I am an evolutionary biologist at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. My research is mostly in reptiles and amphibians. I am mainly interested in how phenotypic traits evolve and the study of adaptive evolution (including patterns and processes). Also, I document aspects of natural history, ecology, and biology of herpetofauna with emphasis on Mexican species.
