I go on hikes regularly, in order to maintain some semblance of fitness. I carry a camera with me to give me something to do to make it more interesting. My reason for joining this forum? Because I am no expert, I would like to share, and very often verify, species identification for myself, since I find the guide books a little inadequate/not complete enough, especially the South African flower guides for the different regions, but particularly the one for the Cape Peninsula, where I am based.
