EUROMEDITERRANEAN ALIEN SPECIES project launched!

EUROMEDITERRANEAN ALIEN SPECIES (EAS) is a project that aims at gathering the observations of species that are considered alien in at least one Euromediterranean country.

The area of interest is the whole Euromediterranean territory as it is in the Euro+Med Plantbase:

iNat users are warmly welcome to add observations of any kind of living creatures to the EAS project if they fit with this criterion: alien in at least one Euromediterranean country.

Which observations should not be added to EAS:
1) Doubtfully (cryptogenic) alien species
2) Cultivated plants or bred animals
