Inspired to Examine Weeds

Somebody posted how they were inspired to start looking at weeds. This sparked my own interest as I was planting basil. I have some pots with soil left over that have started sprouting random plants. As I used iNaturalist to identify them, I began to realize how many different species there were just in one small pot. We tend to look at weeds as one big overarching category without really thinking about how many varieties of species there really are. I have a newfound appreciation for the resilience of these plants!
