Project to help capture Lichen data

By request we have added two projects to assist with data capture on observations.
The projects are:

• https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/lichen-data-capture-chemical
  Just add the project to your observation and fill in the fields needed.
  At any time in the future fields can be edited or added from the observation.

The fields used will be adjusted according to needs.
Please feel free to ask questions or suggest additions or improvements in comments below. Please note: existing fields that are used are unlikely to be altered to prevent data "contamination".

Fields (and default values)

MORPHOLOGY

• Lichen thallus shape [the only required field to add the project]
  Shape of the non-reproductive portion of a lichen. [crustose]

• Lichen thallus colour
  Colour of the non-reproductive portion of the lichen. [beige]

• Lichen fruiting body colour
  Colour of the reproductive part of the lichen. [beige]

• Lichen Cilia Color
  [beige]

• Lichen substrate
  Substance lichen is growing on. Please use "Host" field to designate species of a living substrate. [unknown]

• Saxicolous lichen rock type (S Afr)
  Provides an additional level of substrate data for saxicolous lichens beyond "Lichen substrate: Rock" [sandstone] [should be unknown?]

• Habitat (s Afr)
  Please fill in the biome level habitats for your observation. [Unknown]

CHEMICAL

• Lichen Chemical Test: Medulla - K - potassium hydroxide
  10% solution of potassium hydroxide in water - replace when old or cloudy [? unknown]

• Lichen Chemical Test: Medulla - C – bleach
  sodium hypochlorite solution (household bleach) = replace frequently [? unknown]

• Lichen Chemical Test: Medulla - KC
  K followed by C on the same fragment [? unknown]

• Lichen Chemical Test: Medulla - Pd - para-phenylenediamine
  Use as Steiner’s solution: toxic, mutagenic, allergenic and may be carcinogenic. [? unknown]

• Lichen Chemical Test: Cortex - K - potassium hydroxide
