An androgynous bee. Probably a female Andrena carlini that was parasitized by Stylops. I had wondered if it was a gynandromorph until John Ascher answered my question. Interesting! This bee was behaving like the male Andrena carlini that were flying around the magnolia and rarely settling. I thought it was strange to see a female out and about this early and didn't notice her mustache until I got home and looked through my photos.
