I'm a high school history, art, and music teacher. When I was in high school I had dreams of becoming a wildlife conservationist. The science was just too hard for me to get a degree in biology. I've recently re-discovered my passion for animals, especially birds, and I love hiking, observing, and photographing bugs, birds, and mammals. Through iNaturalist, I'm getting the science education I ignored in college and I'm loving it. My favorite thing is when I post and misidentify a species and an identifier corrects it and I discover I have a new bird on my list.
