I'm a native Floridian who was lucky enough to have grandparents who were naturalists and shared their love of the natural world with me. My education is in natural science. I've worked in ecology for many years, and my current job as Coordinator of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail is to encourage people to get outside and look at wildlife. I live in Tallahassee, but was born and raised by the Gulf of Mexico in Clearwater.
