if i didn't know any better i would have guessed P. robbinsiana. It was growing in loose gravel but sheltered enough that it would not be disturbed by a landslide. Ledge on Boreal Calcareous Cliff. Only one observed. It also could be Fragaria. I think the lobes are to pointed for P. robbinsiana but idk.

Shocked to find this tricolor milk while night driving. Habitat on both sides of highway is extremely rocky. Obviously an escapee from neighboring homes. Observation marker is spot on. Second non native serpent I have found while night driving. Both were DOR.

This blind salamander was collected in a bottle trap placed in a well near Comal Springs. I previously identified it as E. rathbuni during a fit of "just give it a name" but it represents a Comal endemic, closely related to -but distinctive from- the Texas blind salamander found in San Marcos.

microscopy coming. growing with S. flavicomans (the larger lighter plants in the second photo). The color in the field photos is weird because of wet conditions and my camera acting weird.
