I am currently teaching in the Biology dept at Sonoma State University. In the fall I teach a mushroom ID course and in the spring I teach a plant ID course. I require my students to create an observation for each species they add to their personal collection for both courses and emphasize the value of documenting biodiversity and contributing to citizen science efforts.
